We're looking into doing a maintenance, a few tests on these points. We require to move them on the switch in the manual control box. So we need to put Brighton interlocking into manual. What will happen is signals 3 and 24 will go to red, so that will protect what we're doing. And then we'll move the points normal and reverse and run a few tests. And then when we see a tram either approaching on the up or down, we will return the points to normal and then put the system into auto and that will clear the signals and then they can run into the platform and then up to the city. So we'll do it in between trams so we know roughly what the situation is.

Yeah, that's fine. I've got a tram currently just left signal 1 heading to 30 and down. If you want to wait for that one or you want to quickly flick the points, whatever you want to do with the points, you have some time before that tram gets to signal 3.

Negative, we won't do it now, we'll wait for that next one, I can see one just coming on the up as well, so there's one just crossing Brighton Road now, and then we'll wait for the one on the down, and then we'll do it then, and then whenever we see a tram approaching the signals, we'll give them a green straight away on it, but it's just to give us maximum testing time between trams would be good if we could just have it in manual, and that way the signals protect us. We don't need to, you know, stop it miles away.
