Yeah, Pat, we've just made our way around to the most western point, a bit of sit-rep in here, multiple spots, burning, very low intensity, maximum flame height of a metre, most of the backing fire on those spots has gone out, there is a few that are still burning, but it's just trickling away in here, over.

Roger mate, yeah, if you could do one where you currently are and then, yeah, if you're feeling like you want to go for a walk and find some better fire behaviour, do the same thing at that point too, over.

I'm happy for you to kill the EWIS. What we've got here is a visitor type set up with the panel in the hallway between the rooms. We're just getting access to the roof to inspect above the lift shaft. There's no smoke coming out of the vent, we're just doing inspecting with a tick over.

Hi mate, just wondering whether you or you have an experienced crew member on your hose lay, could push along your western most end of the hose lay and then follow the river around, just to give me a bit of a sit rep of what they can see inside the block at probably the western most point of the burn over.
5310646
17:44:39 12.0s
Yeah, roger, mate. Mitch is right down the bottom, I reckon. I'm just going back up the top to work with the ignition crew and that patch I found, so I'll get him to touch base with you once he's there.

17:32:41 14.7s

Sturt probably got 10 minutes of us, happy to wait out and just see where it develops, some areas are getting a bit smoky as you can imagine, but you won't need to be in there anyway, but that heat heal looks like it's going to come together quite nicely.
Sierra Sector
17:23:13 11.1s
Roger mate, there's one bit from our angle where there isn't a lot of smoke developing, that is the area that you've just filled in, over.
Firebird 504

Firebird 504
17:23:49 15.4s
Yeah, copy that. The only area that's obvious to me is the fire scar, because there's just nothing coming out of that eastern end of Sierra sector, but I think it's just due to the lack of fuel in there from the bushfire.
Sierra Sector
17:24:05 12.7s
Yeah, I'm happy to let that just be. The only concern I ever had through there was if it wanted to punch out there, but it hasn't wanted to burn all day, so I think we're all sweet there. Over.

I heard that conversation. We can get underneath if that's where Tim means. We've got some hills that have developed slowly towards that western boundary at the end of the hose lay. We can get in to the west of that, but it's pretty limited where we can get in there.
