Not sure what you caught of that. MFS crews have investigated the lift well thoroughly, they've moved the lift up, they have identified the device that activated it, at this point no apparent cause, a reset was attempted but it's reactivated, we're liaising with hospital management around disabling that device, notifying them to have alarm technicians and lift technicians to investigate at the earliest opportunity. Adelaide 202 reported no smoke haze in the shaft, only a faint plastic smell possibly from charges outside the lift.
We've thoroughly investigated that shaft. We've opened it up. We can see all the way to the bottom of the shaft to the top of the shaft. There's no smoke haze. The only smell I had was a very, very faint smell of plastic. On-site staff here advise that that could be the smell from the charges that are on the wall outside the lift. Over.
